Your words are private.

The short version

We collect only what we need to run Memoirea. We don’t sell your data, we don’t train AI models on your entries, and we don’t advertise to you. You can export or delete everything at any time.

What we collect

• Account info — your email, password (hashed), and a few profile details you choose to share, like your first name and birth year.
• Your entries — the words, dates, and tags you save in Memoirea. Stored encrypted at rest.
• Billing — handled by Stripe. We store a customer ID and subscription status. We never see your full card number.
• Basic logs — IP address and request metadata, kept briefly to keep the service secure and reliable.

How we use it

To provide the service: show you your entries, send the daily nudge you opted into, process your subscription, answer your support emails, and prevent abuse. That’s it.

Who we share it with

A small number of trusted processors that help us run the service:

• Supabase — database and authentication hosting.
• Stripe — payment processing.
• Cloudflare — application hosting and security.

We don’t sell your data, we don’t share it with advertisers, and we don’t hand it to third parties for their own purposes.

Your rights

You can view, export, correct, or delete your data at any time from settings. If you’re in the EU/UK, California, or another jurisdiction with privacy rights, you also have the right to object, restrict processing, and lodge a complaint with your data protection authority.

How long we keep it

As long as your account is active, plus a short window after deletion to handle backups and legal obligations. Then we’re done.

Children

Memoirea isn’t intended for anyone under 16. We don’t knowingly collect data from children.

Changes

If we change this policy meaningfully, we’ll let you know in the app or by email before the change takes effect.
